Honest about the beginning

Why we began

We witnessed dedication. We also saw where support could help.

During a medical trip to Tanzania, our founders saw local healthcare professionals already doing meaningful work—serving their communities with knowledge, commitment, and care.

We also saw the challenges they navigate: limited resources, strained infrastructure, and medication systems that could do more with sustained support.

Project Tanzania grew from a desire to continue standing alongside that work after returning home. Local healthcare organizations remain the experts and leaders of healthcare delivery. Our role is to listen, mobilize, and support.

Partnership begins with respect.

Our focus

Three places where thoughtful support can strengthen care.

01

Healthcare resources

Supporting access to essential medications, supplies, and tools identified by local healthcare partners.

02

Infrastructure

Helping strengthen the systems and physical resources that make reliable healthcare possible.

03

Medical outreach

Supporting locally directed efforts that bring healthcare resources closer to underserved communities.

Our first healthcare partnership

Pamoja Hospital

Arusha, Tanzania

Pamoja Hospital is an important healthcare partner and intended beneficiary of Project Tanzania’s support. The hospital is independently led and operated; Project Tanzania does not own or manage its facilities or clinical care.

We are beginning by listening to local priorities and building a responsible foundation for future fundraising and support.
